Skills

1. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
2. Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts Familiarity with version control concepts 
3. Exposure to Microsoft .NET /Java
4. Exposure to web development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript Knowledge of client/server application development
5. Knowledge of agile development methodologies
6. Knowledge of unit testing theory

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications 
2. Assisting in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
3. Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software. 
4. Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
5. Develop quality code and incorporate review comments from peer review.
6. Participate in scrum calls to estimate development timelines.
7. Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
8. Setup environment to deploy and test the solution.
9. Package and support deployment of releases.
10. Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems.
11. Provide demo to the QA team,  gather and incorporate feedback about developed functionality.
12. Provide assistance to Triage customer-reported issues.
13. Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget. 
14. Providing third-level support to business users. 

Salary

The expected Advanced Trainee Engineer – Development salary for less than 1 year of experience is INR 4 – 5 LPA, as per mentioned in the ambition box, & glassdoor.
