Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct secondary and primary research using public and paid databases
• Gather market intelligence and monitor industry trends – develop and maintain the industry landscape of companies across various investing themes, and information on key trends such as partnerships, sustainability targets, etc. for both national and global companies dealing in the energy/carbon/utility sector and its related applications
• Track Sectoral news and macroeconomic and geopolitical events which can impact the business
• Gather and evaluate policies and regulations in the energy sector to identify opportunities and risks
• Collaborate on creating key research deliverables, including but not limited to investment notes, strategy notes & presentations, case studies, infographics, articles, etc.
• Participate in the calls organized by Business Development/Inorganic Growth teams with founders/management of other firms
• Drive thesis building (including key portions like market sizing, TAM, industry trends, etc.) and internal business strategy documents.
• Contribute to research & innovation ideas and hackathons.
• Provide necessary inputs to Product and Sales teams
